Naperville municipal elections petitions available

Up for election include the positions of mayor and four city council members. Candidates must be registered voters of the city of Naperville and have lived in the city for at least one year.

Petition filings will take place weekdays from Monday, Nov. 19, through Monday, Nov. 26, excluding Thanksgiving and the Friday after Thanksgiving. A primary election will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, if more than four candidates file for any one office or if there are more than 16 candidates for city council or four candidates for mayor.
