Precinct Committeepersons

Being a Precinct Committeeperson (PC) is one of the most important role in our party. As a PC, you are on the front lines of winning elections up and down the ballot.

You become the main point of information and contact for voters in your neighborhood and within the Democratic Party. You also play a central role in local Democratic organizations by helping to elect county and township leadership.

How do I become a PC?

You can be elected to a two-year term as a PC by your neighbors in the Democratic primary in even-numbered years. To do so, you must file to run with the Will County Clerk.

Don't worry if you've missed the election. If there's no PC in your precinct, the Township Chair can nominate you to be appointed as a PC.
